We ship all large traps via UPS Ground using discounted carrier rates. We don't mark up shipping — what you pay at checkout is our actual discounted  flatrate, not what UPS charges retail customers.

What would UPS charge me without our discount?

I'm in Missouri — do I get flat rates too?

Missouri customers have access to local pickup as an option, so we offer live carrier rates at checkout instead of flat rates. This gives you the most accurate shipping cost for your specific location — or skip shipping altogether and pick up locally.

Why is shipping so much cheaper through us?

We've secured discounted UPS shipping rates that aren't available to the general public. Rather than pocketing the difference, we pass those savings directly to you at checkout. The rate you see is our actual cost — not a marked-up estimate.

Why does shipping seem high compared to the trap price?

Large wire traps are bulky, dimensional freight. UPS calculates shipping on dimensional weight — meaning a large, lightweight box can cost as much to ship as a heavy one. If you walked into a UPS store and shipped the same trap yourself, you'd pay $94–$184 depending on your location. Your checkout rate is already a significant discount off that.

Do you charge more for multiple traps?

Yes, but far less than retail. Multiple trap orders may ship in a single large box or separate boxes depending on your location — we always choose the most cost-effective method and pass that savings to you.
