Pre-rigged fiberglass bank-poles for alternative-method catfishing. Also known as bank poles, diddy poles, or ditty poles, each comes with a tied main line and a complete Gamakatsu single-hook wire leader. Get your setup without sourcing and assembling every component yourself.
Finish depends on availability. Patterned fiberglass poles are standard; UV-protected solid-white fiberglass poles may be substituted when needed. Finish selection is not offered. Both versions are fiberglass, not carbon fiber. The patterned poles have a polyester surface veil; the solid-white poles do not.
Each pole includes
One 7½-foot, ½-inch-diameter fiberglass bank pole blank with a pre drilled hole.
Braided trotline cord cut at 7 feet, finishing at approximately 5 feet after knots
One 4-oz egg sinker
One Gamakatsu 10/0 Octopus SE 4X Strong J-hook
One approximately 20-inch overall leader assembly, made using 16 inches of vinyl-coated wire and two crimp sleeves
Three Roscoe 4/0 barrel swivels total: one on the main line and two in the leader
One stainless steel split ring and one detachable clip
One Bankpolefever decal and one 2-inch reflective strip
The main-line length and overall leader length are separate measurements. Bait is not included.
Setting your bankpole
When setting your bankpole, keep the catfish decal upright, not upside down. The decal marks the top/spine side of the pole.

Processing time
Pre-rigged to order. Ships within 7–10 business days when components are in stock. Orders requiring additional components will take longer; we’ll contact you with an estimated ship date. Shipping transit time is additional.
Roscoe 4/0 barrel swivels are rated at 450 lb and split rings at 300 lb. These are component ratings, not a tested strength rating for the finished bankpole setup.
